East of Los Angeles, San Gabriel's summer was as warm and vibrant as ever.
But on June 18, the Sichuan Market was even livelier than usual. A team flew in from Las Vegas and set up their booth under the Southern California sun. Against a deep green backdrop, a golden dragon emblem and the words "Jade Promenade" stood out prominently.
This was the Jade Promenade promotion for Las Vegas Chinatown, hosted by Wu Yuzhang (Gary the Texan Wu), former Global Vice President and Greater China CEO of Volvo Group , founder of TotalMax Homes, with Sarah Sorrells (Liu Shala, NV Lic# B.0145042) , President of RISE Realty, leading project leasing and promotion. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, attendance exceeded expectations. Entrepreneurs, investors, chamber of commerce representatives, and brand merchants from Southern California and Las Vegas all stopped by to learn more about the project.
Lin Maosheng, President of the U.S. Zhejiang General Chamber of Commerce; Qin Yaling (Cathy), President of the Asian American Entrepreneurs Alliance (AAEA, Las Vegas); and Sun Xiaohua (Johnson Sun / Master of Taihu), President of the North American International Academy of Painting and Calligraphy , along with many old friends, made the trip to show their support. Wu Yuzhang (Gary the Texan Wu) also extended his sincere appreciation to every guest who attended the event.
What Is Jade Promenade?
On site, Gary the Texan Wu gave a detailed presentation of the project's master plan. Located in the heart of Las Vegas Chinatown, Jade Promenade is a large-scale mixed-use commercial complex that integrates specialty dining, retail shopping, entertainment, and community services. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the project is positioned to become a new commercial landmark in Las Vegas Chinatown.
In simple terms, the goal is to provide the Chinese community in Las Vegas with a truly high-quality commercial destination of its own. Chinatown is already a vibrant and thriving area, but it still lacks a defining commercial landmark. Jade Promenade aims to fill that gap.

Gary the Texan Wu detailed Jade Promenade's overall planning, leasing opportunities, and future development direction, and engaged in in-depth discussions with numerous merchants regarding potential cooperation and business opportunities.

Now, TotalMax Homes is expanding from living into commerce. The mansions address the question of how to stay comfortably in Las Vegas, while Jade Promenade addresses how the Chinese community can live, work, and connect more conveniently. During the event, representatives from several chambers of commerce and business leaders exchanged views on trends in Chinese-owned business development, brand globalization, and opportunities in the Western U.S. market. One consensus was clear: Las Vegas continues to experience strong economic growth, and the Chinese community is steadily expanding. Foot traffic and consumer spending in the Chinatown business district continue to rise, making this an opportune time for a well-positioned new commercial complex.
Sarah Sorrells noted that Las Vegas has experienced sustained population growth in recent years, while its tourism and service sectors remain vibrant. At the same time, the Chinatown business district continues to expand and evolve. The Jade Promenade project aims to bring together high-quality brands and commercial resources, creating new opportunities for businesses while further enriching the local commercial landscape and enhancing the vitality of the community.
More Than Leasing — A Connection
The significance of this promotion goes beyond introducing a new project. It connected Chinese business resources across California and Nevada, providing Southern California entrepreneurs with a window into the Las Vegas market while creating new partnership opportunities for local Chinese business owners in Las Vegas.

While 2027 may seem some distance away, for a commercial project, the timeline for leasing and operational preparation is already well underway. Jade Promenade is now in its "NOW LEASING" phase, with merchants actively exploring tenancy opportunities.
