A $600 million upgrade of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), expanding exhibition space from 1.9 million to 2.5 million square feet
A new 100,000-square-foot Grand Lobby featuring digital wayfinding systems and large-scale LED displays
Climate-controlled indoor corridors connecting the North and South Halls, allowing attendees to move between exhibition areas without facing the desert heat
The Vegas Loop underground transportation system developed by The Boring Company (Elon Musk), reducing a 25-minute walk to just 2 minutes
The airport has also been upgraded in parallel. Harry Reid International Airport now offers direct flights to more than 150 destinations worldwide . Major global exhibitions hosted annually in Las Vegas include CES, SEMA, CONEXPO-CON/AGG, World of Concrete, SHOT Show, G2E, NAB Show, and Adobe Summit.

During major exhibitions, room availability tightens, rates climb rapidly, and teams are often split across multiple floors or even different properties. For procurement teams hosting clients and coordinating meetings throughout the exhibition, this is not always the most efficient solution.
Official data also shows an interesting trend: hosting conferences in Las Vegas increases attendance by approximately 10% on average . This means event attendance continues to grow, while hotel capacity and the overall guest experience on the Strip have not kept pace.
