At 12:30 PM on July 9, the whistle blew at Thomas & Mack Center. The 2026 NBA Summer League officially tipped off.
30 teams. 76 games. 11 days nonstop.
The No. 1 pick, AJ Dybantsa, made his debut for the Wizards. The No. 2 pick, Darryn Peterson, led the Jazz. The No. 3 pick, Cameron Boozer, joined the Grizzlies. The No. 4 pick, Caleb Wilson, suited up for the Bulls. The "Four Emperors" of this draft class faced off for the first time, right here in Las Vegas.
This isn't an exhibition. It's a preview of the next decade of the NBA.
$50 for the full day. Up to 8 games.
The organizers kept ticket prices affordable this year. A single-day pass costs $50, including service fees. Once you're inside, you can watch every game scheduled that day, up to eight games in total. Parking is free. From 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, your seat in the arena becomes your home base.
Can't make it in person? ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, NBA TV, and Prime Video are broadcasting the games across multiple platforms. For the No. 1 pick's debut, the broadcasters won't miss a moment.
But watching the games is only part of the day.
The last game tips off at 10:00 PM. By then, hotels on the Strip have raised their rates. Lobbies are filled with fans in team jerseys. After spending hours in the arena, you're exhausted. You don't want to squeeze into an elevator. You don't want to wait for an Uber. You don't want to hear the party next door through the walls.
That's when the car leaves the Strip, travels 3.5 miles, and turns through an automatic gate.
